At the end of last year, AMO Group installed a Weinor Livona Awning for the Bloc Café in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire. Holmfirth; Known locally as Little Hollywood, most recognised as the location of a classic television series, Last of the Summer Wine. Our installation team worked hard to transform this tired looking patio into an area that can be used all year round!
The Weinor Livona Awning is a floating open awning, often mistaken to be floating mid-air. When combined with the frame colour and fabric, the Livona has transformed into a modern style element for life alfresco. The awning creates a shaded space, come rain or shine, you can be outdoors enjoying the fresh air with a nice cup of coffee. Another benefit of the awning is that it provides shading from the intense sunlight even when youre indoors, shading the windows to prevent inside getting too hot in the summer months.
LED lighting was added to this Weinor Livona Awning, perfect for summer evenings or when the dull wintery nights start to kick in, creating an outdoor living space for the whole year. The decision to have LED lighting added was a great decision, as it will help to create various ambiances, for all types of occasions.
